01. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Speed Links governing your access to and use of the Speed Links browser extension and the speedlinks.app website. By downloading, installing, or purchasing a license, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not purchase, install, or use our extension or website.

02. Software License Grant & Permitted Use

Upon valid purchase of a lifetime license, Speed Links grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the software subject to the following provisions:

• Installation Allowances: Each license key authorizes active installations on the number of devices specified in your license tier (starting with 3 concurrent installations).
• Device Management & Reassignment: You may manage and unregister old or inactive installations at any time via the License Management Portal to transfer your activation to replacement hardware.
• Lifetime Validity: Your software license does not expire and incurs no periodic maintenance subscriptions.

03. Restrictions & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Resell, distribute, lease, rent, sublicense, or share your license keys publicly with third parties.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the license validation mechanism, except to the extent permitted by applicable mandatory law.
• Bypass, disable, or circumvent the license verification systems or device seat caps.
• Use the software or services for any fraudulent, unlawful, or unauthorized purpose.

04. Pricing, Payments, and Taxes

• One-Time Payment: Speed Links licenses are sold on a one-time payment basis with no recurring billing.
• Secure Processing: All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card or payment credential numbers.
• Taxes: All applicable value-added taxes (VAT) or sales taxes are calculated and collected in compliance with international commerce regulations.

05. Right of Withdrawal & Refund Policy

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU) and statutory digital commerce laws:

• Immediate Supply of Digital Content: By completing your purchase of digital software delivered instantly via an activation key, you expressly consent to immediate contract performance and acknowledge the waiver of the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once the license key is delivered.
• Technical Satisfaction Guarantee: In the event of persistent technical incompatibility or defects that prevent the software from operating as described, we provide a 14-day support and refund review window to assist you or provide a full refund if the issue cannot be resolved.

06. Intellectual Property

Speed Links, including all software code, interface assets, trademarks, logos, and visual designs, is the exclusive intellectual property of the Speed Links development team.

Third-Party Disclaimer: Google Chrome, the Chrome logo, and Chrome Web Store are trademarks of Google LLC. Speed Links is an independent product not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google.

07. Disclaimer of Warranties

The software and related services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

08. Service Modification, Termination & Complete Disclaimer of Liability for External Causes

Speed Links reserves the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or terminate the extension, related services, updates, or license verification infrastructure at any time, temporarily or permanently.

Specifically, Speed Links assumes no liability, responsibility, or obligation whatsoever if the service, extension availability, or software maintenance must be terminated, altered, or interrupted due to any cause or event beyond our reasonable control or due to external circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Third-Party Platform Policies & Store Changes: Policy changes, technical modifications, or enforcement actions imposed by Google LLC, the Chrome Web Store, or other extension distribution channels (including extension Manifest version shifts like Manifest V3 or API deprecations).
• Legal and Regulatory Actions: Changes in applicable laws, court orders, administrative rulings, export controls, or regulatory sanctions.
• Force Majeure & External Infrastructure Failures: Natural disasters, power grid outages, global cyberattacks, war, civil unrest, or widespread downtime of hosting providers, data centers, or payment gateways.
• Supervening Technological Incompatibilities: Incompatible structural modifications introduced into web browsers, operating systems, or third-party engines that make ongoing software maintenance technically or commercially infeasible.

Under no circumstances shall the cessation or disruption of the service due to external reasons entitle the user to any damages, financial compensation, indemnification, or purchase refunds, and Speed Links is completely held harmless and released from all direct or indirect liability.

09. General Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Speed Links be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data, browser corruption, or profits). Where applicable law does not permit full disclaimer of liability, Speed Links' total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for your license.

10. Support & Updates

We strive to maintain and provide compatibility updates for active releases of major Chromium-based browsers, along with maintenance patches, without constituting an indefinite legal obligation to rebuild software against breaking third-party platform alterations.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain and the European Union. For European consumers, online dispute resolution is accessible through the European Commission platform at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
